Ideas for Mums this Christmas

With Christmas on its way fast I am typically late in getting organised.  Mind you as I type I am half way through a new kitchen install which isn't helping much especially as I work from home.  I think a couple of late night shopping trips will be in order soon.   But I really struggling with gifts for my mum.  There is always her favourite perfume but as this costs less than a £10, its the old cheap stuff, I always feel this isn't enough.  It if was the same price as my favourite pefume (Alien) then I'd feel job done, add a box of chocs and sorted.

So this year I am trying to think out of the box and come up with a fab gift which is better than the rest and i think I have got it.  My mum loves Downton Abbey and I know there are a couple of companies which offer reasonable tours. Another reason why I have been in a flap about Christmas is because I have been very busy with my little ceramic sculpture business. For those that dont know I am in the process of developing my art and have been making ceramic flower people for about a year now.  I have been doing a few fairs and sales have picked up with Christmas coming.  I have learn t so much over the past year and will be far more prepared for next year.  The dream is to do it as my one and only job.  Currently I have 3 jobs and that is without counting the numerous jobs I do look after my kids and keep the home in check.  I have no manor or servants downstairs unfortunately.

I finally got my money back from these guys but it probably cost me the same in phone calls.   So if you accidentally subscribed and didn't read the 'terms and conditions' and have been charged you CAN get your money back.

When you phone the women and they try to fob you off, ask to speak to there supervisor and dont take no for an answer. Lay it on thick. Explain that yes you made a mistake by not reading the terms and conditions properly but you believe they didn't make it clear enough in the advertisement which is mis selling and THEIR mistake.  Then explain that any legitimate company will put customers first and refund unhappy customers without question.

Threaten that unless you get a refund you will join the growing number of unhappy customers which are coming together to put you out of buiness.

I actually screamed at them down the phone and said I'll make it go viral and put you out of business!

Wow, I have had an email, maybe this means I will get the money?  Its looking positive.  But i did send them loads of emails again and phoned them angrily a couple of times.  I bet my phone costs outweigh the refund. 

Here is the email.

Nuando Instant Lift SCAM - CON

If you have been scammed by a company selling Bellian Serum and Nuando Instant Lift I want to hear from you.  I have already had one person get in touch and I want more.

I finally managed to speak to a so called supervisor two weeks ago and was promised 2 x £89 back with 3-5 working days.  Guess what.. THAT WAS LIES.

I have just phoned them again on044 808-189-0374 and I got through to the same silly cow who says the same old thing.  She has a script and just keeps to it.  Surprisingly Micheal the supervisor wasn't available.

I have given them 5 days to do what they promised before I seek legal advice.  They are messing with the wrong person as I will not give up until I get my refund and everyone knows they are a scamming and conning company and go out of business.

Never buy anything that is linked to Premium product support as they are a scam, complete con.

Beware.  I have fallen victim to a scam where you sign up for a free trial of face cream only to find out that in the tiny terms and conditions you have agreed to a subscription and they send you a bottle every month.  The so called free trial was only £2.99, but once that is over they send you the cream and take around £85 per bottle.  So in a few weeks I have paid not far off £400 for cream I dont want and this scamming company is laughing all the way to the bank.

They know darn well that their advertisement are misleading and that very few people read the terms and conditions.

I am still trying to get a refund and I will not stop bugging them until they give me it.  I haven't touched the creams, they can have them back. They say the billing department can only be contacted by email and I have had an email from them.  It says

Well that was sent on the 2nd of October  and they still haven't got in touch.  They are ignoring me.  I have phoned them  4 times and I just get lies.

So if you have seen one of these offers of Facebook or anywhere, dont do it.  They are just an unethical company using clever imagery and words to mislead victims.

If they were not a scamming company they would allow me to return items and give me a full refund.

Outlander

If you haven't heard of Outlander, then you will soon.  I am new to Diana Gabaldon and her Outlander novels, it was only through my love of game of thrones that it came to my radar. It has recently been made into a tv series and it's bloody good to be honest, excuse my French! It hasn't been aired on tv in the UK yet but you can watch it on couchtuner.eu. If you loved game of thrones with a bit of time travel, you will love this.

So what's it about I hear you cry. Well it's about a woman, Claire Randall, a nurse from the 20th century, who travels back in time to the 18th century and meets a fit Scottish Highlander. She was on a holiday with her husband who had recently returned from war when she stumbled on some old stone in a mini Stonehenge and boom she's back to the 18th century.  Now if I were her I'd stay with the Scottish hubby, ( they get married ) but what happens I don't know. I haven't read the books but am tempted as I can't wait that long for the next instalment!

It's all filmed in some beautiful countryside in Scotland and you can go on a outlander tour with Brit Movie tours. I will definitely be going on this Outlander tour. I might have to watch the first episodes again as it was just brilliant. Fantastic acting, costumes, script, everything.  I am no expert on tv productions but this was good.
