Off to Cancun

Well I have had a roller coaster of a ride this past two weeks thanks to the bloomin press and the governments of the world. Swine flu, my arse! Well finially after they really looked at the evidence they realised it wasn't so bad after all so I will get my holiday I planned months ago, just a week later. We fly on Monday to this place http://www.crownparadise.com/cancun/crown/index.html unless something else happens. Knowing my luck a meteorite will hit cancun Monday morning!

POAFUM

Well I have had a great weekend. Had a lovely surprise when my brother and his new girlfriend visited me down the Coalport China Museum. He had never seen my work and was impressed! He now wants to be my agent and sell my stuff! Well if he can find outlets I'll supply him!

When I started Uni I made a few masks and angry face sculptures. More like gargoyles. I made one holding a gun (the gun was slip cast and looked real) see below... I gave it to him one christmas (he likes wierd things) and apparently he loved it and gave it a name POAFUM standing for "Product of a F**ked up mind". He must have thought that was me at the time I guess.  I had an angry and determind mind rather than a f**ked up one I think personally.

So there you go, POAFUM a new word!]
